A Unified Mission, Expanding Hope Across Wisconsin

We are grateful to share an important milestone in the life of our ministry, one that reflects both growth and God’s continued faithfulness. Adult & Teen Challenge of Western Wisconsin is now officially named
Adult & Teen Challenge Wisconsin (ATCW).

This name change represents more than a new title; it reflects a broader vision and a unified mission to serve individuals across Wisconsin seeking freedom from addiction and other life-controlling issues. While our name has changed, our heart has not. We remain deeply committed to providing Christ-centered, holistic recovery that addresses the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of every individual we serve.

As part of this transition, on January 23, the men’s residential recovery program in Wausau, formerly known as Gospel TLC, officially joined Adult & Teen Challenge Wisconsin. This moment marked the welcoming of the Wausau Men’s Center into the ATCW ministry and the expansion of our ability to serve both women and men under one unified mission.

Community members, ministry partners, and many familiar ATCW faces gathered in Wausau to give thanks for what God is doing through this growing work. While historically cold weather prevented a formal ceremony, it did not stop hearts from gathering in prayer, unity, and gratitude. The day reflected strong local support and provided an opportunity to celebrate God’s faithfulness, share the mission of Adult & Teen Challenge Wisconsin, and introduce the leadership guiding this campus forward.

Adult and Teen Challenge Wisconsin - Wausau Campus

The Wausau Men’s Center carries a strong legacy of faith-based recovery. By bringing this program into Adult & Teen Challenge Wisconsin, we are able to align leadership, programming, and resources while continuing to honor the unique calling and community presence of each campus.

During the gathering, Micah Meline was officially introduced as Center Director of the Wausau Men’s Center. Micah brings servant-hearted leadership, humility, and lived experience shaped by redemption. After more than 15 years of addiction marked by chaos and self-destruction, Micah found lasting freedom through the Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge program, a transformation that reshaped the direction of his life and confirmed God’s calling to walk alongside others on their journey toward healing and restoration

Over the past eight years, Micah has served in several leadership roles within Adult & Teen Challenge, most recently as Regional Outreach Manager across 28 counties and 10 correctional facilities in Minnesota. Through this work, he helped connect more than 1,000 individuals to Christ-centered recovery while building strong partnerships with churches, community organizations, and correctional systems. His leadership reflects a deep reliance on Christ, bringing both compassion and accountability to the recovery process. Micah understands recovery not only as freedom from addiction, but as the restoration of identity, purpose, and relationship with God.

Adult & Teen Challenge is also deeply woven into Micah’s personal story. His wife is an alumna of the La Crosse Women’s Center, and together they are raising their daughter with faith and gratitude at the center of their home.

Since opening the La Crosse Women’s Center in 2019, more than 150 women have been served through our residential program. With the addition of the Wausau Men’s Center, Adult & Teen Challenge Wisconsin now extends that same commitment to recovery across multiple locations, expanding access to hope, healing, and restoration throughout the state.

This season is made possible through the faithful support of donors, volunteers, churches, and community partners. Your generosity ensures that no individual is turned away due to inability to pay and that Christ-centered recovery remains
accessible to all who seek it.
